One of the best restaurants I've been to in New York. Bruno's has a great atmosphere, attentive staff, and most importantly, excellent food. When you are seated, the table is given a warm loaf of sliced bread and a complimentary cold antipasti. As an appetizer, I went with the fried calamari/shrimp, which was not chewy and cooked perfectly. For the main course, I had the lobster lunch special. I ordered it broiled and it was one of the best lobster dishes I have ever had. The mix of flavors was outstanding. The prices are also great considering the amount of food you get and the quality. The desserts also looked delicious but I did not have any room after the appetizer and main course. I highly recommend Bruno's and will definitely be a return customer.

Excellent hospitality and cuisine. Great authentic Italian atmosphere. Had the veal, it was perfect. Margherita.... wonderful. Salmon, shrimp parm, also top notch. A definite place to visit anytime especially post JFK.

This is truly a neighborhood GEM! The staff warmly greets you upon arrival. The seasoned wait staff goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience mirrors one you might have at a top Manhattan restaurant. The food is prepared to order and Although the menu items are wonderful, the specials are truly SPECIAL! Not just using an item they may have over ordered. Something for everyone, NEVER a disappointment!
This place is just amazing! Food was so delicious and flavorful, probably one of the best Italian around. Ambiance was light and quiet for a nice night out. Service was great. Food came out quickly, even though they had a full house. I ordered the fried calamari which was so tender, the marina sauce complimented the calamari very well. The chicken piccata was perfectly cooked, it was served with green beans and potato croquet. The grilled red snapper was fresh, and seasoned so well.. They had 4 choices of dessert to choice from, everything looked so good. The tiramisu was everything along with the expresso to finish dinner. Brunos's is definitely worth trying. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This is my go to spot every time I'm in Howard Beach. The foods always fantastic. Bruno is amazing and so is the staff. I'm never disappointed when going here. The restaurant is small, cozy, and enjoyable.
Very good Italian restaurant in Howard Beach! The service in this restaurant was very good and the owner Bruno was so nice to us and answered all our questions regarding the menu very attentively. Service was very fast as well. My girlfriend and I came here and liked the food. I ended up ordering the Rigatoni Pomodoro while she had the Shrimp Francese. Her Shrimp Francese was cooked nicely while my Rigatoni was cooked perfectly al dente. The red sauce that my rigatoni came with was very good as well. Overall, the food here was very good and enjoyed my experience here.
